Book Review: Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher
Hi guys, today I have a book review for you. The book is called 'Billy and Me' and was written by Giovanna Fletcher.
This is the first book Giovanna wrote and published. I think Giovanna is an amazing author and her books are very well written. Also the main character shares my name so it has an extra thumbs up for that.
The blurb says:
Sophie May has a secret.
One that she's successfully kept for years. It's meant that she's had to give up her dreams of going to university and travelling the world to stay in her little village, living with her mum and working in the local teashop.
But then she meets the gorgeous Billy - an actor with ambitions to make it to the top. And when they fall in love, Sophie is whisked away from the comfort of her life into Billy's glamorous - but ruthless- world.
Their relationship throws Sophie right into the spotlight after years of shying away from attention. Can she handle the constant scrutiny that comes with being with Billy? And most of all, is she ready for her secret heartbreak to be discovered and shared with the nation?
This book is full of love and emotions. It grabs you from the very first page as the character Sophie is so relatable, charming and endearing that you just have to know how the story ends. Will it be more heartache for Sophie or will Billy come through as her knight in shining armour.
This is my go to holiday read, it takes me three days poolside to read it and I genuinly could not put it down.
Giovanna has written a holiday short story to accompany this book and a second novel called 'Always with love'.
For me this book is a solid 5 stars and I would recomend it to anyone who wants a charming romatic novel to read.
Happy Blogging,
Sophie May
xoxo
