Is A Kindle Worth It?

I got my first kindle when I was 12, it was a kindle paperwhite and to be honest I loved it. It is literally a library on the go. You can't do much else with it, you can go online but it's all in black and white so it's not useful for most things. I would recommend this product to people who are avid readers and, like me, want to take a lot of books on holiday. It's easy to use, small so you can travel with it without it taking too much room in your bag, battery life is amazing and storage is very good. The only downside for me was that the screen didn't have a brightening effect so for me, when I mostly read before bed in the dark (because let's be honest I was one of those kids who kept on reading until I feel asleep), this was an issue as I then had to go and buy a light made for reading books in the dark. Other than that I would highly recommend it. I haven't tried the newest versions but all I can imagine is that they are as good as this was.

Kindle fire HD 7" 

This is the kindle that I own to this day, I was given this as a birthday present for my 14th birthday and I absolutely loved it. It was so much more than the paperwhite as it is like a proper tablet with apps, the Internet, and amazon instant video. To me, being 14 and without an iPhone, this brought me joy as I could keep up with my friends without paying for a phone. Like the paperwhite it is easy to use, easy to travel with, battery life is good, storage is good and unlike the paperwhite it has a brightening mode. This kindle is perfect for me and I use it everyday. The only problem I'm having is the fact that now it is getting old not all the apps are compatible so it means I am going to have to get a new one.

So are they worth the price? Yes one hundred percent if its the tablet you're looking for.

Is it better than other tablets? It truly depends if you're looking for a good app one then probably not, it runs on android and I'm a lover of apple but if you're looking for a tablet with books then yes it is.

Will I be continuing to buy them? Yes, I love amazon and the deals you get on books are amazing. I'll admit I still like to buy physical books but instead of wasting money on buying a book and ending up not liking it, you can sample books and get the first chapter free so if you do like it buy it if not you haven't wasted a penny.
