La La Land Review
Hi guys, I went to see La La Land last night. It is an amazing film. Its not a cheesy musical like many that have been released in recent years but it has a great story and the music is essential for the story. Amazing music that will stick in your head and make you want to sing it all day everyday.
Emma Stone as Mia is amazing, this part was made for her and I can't imagine anyone else playing it. Also, lets mention Ryan Gosling, he is not just a pretty face with a good body. Unlike a lot of his films he's not cast for those attributes (although they do help).
The film takes you on a ride with these people during their relationship, and how being two people with big dreams in Hollywood can cause cracks in that relationship and are they supportive of the others dream or do they concentrate on their own.
This film made me cry at the end because the ending was so different than what I expected, it was a shock to me and I don't know whether I am okay with the ending or not yet. It gave me very mixed emotions which I think was the purpose. A great film to watch and I recommend it for everyone even if you don't think its your cup of tea still go because it will make you feel and think like no other film.
Have you seen it? What are your thoughts?
Happy Blogging,
