My Summer Reading List

Hey guys, today's post is my summer reading list. My summer started back in June and will basically end the end of September as that is when I go back to school. This gives me a lot of time to do my favorite thing. Read. I am the type of person who can read any genre of book from sci-fi to romance to historical.  If you want to find out which books i'm planning on reading then carry on.

My first book is Dream a little Dream by Giovanna Fletcher.
This is the third novel by Giovanna Fletcher (she also has two short stories as sequels to her first book and this book). I have read her first two books and I was in love. Both made me cry rivers. She has a way of grasping you into the story so you feel as though you are going through what the character is going through as well. When this came out I bought it straight away on my kindle but I never came round to reading it until I finally bought it in paper back which makes it more enticing for me to read it so it is at the top of my list to read this summer.
(Already on page 108 and cant put it down)

My second book Always with love is also by Giovanna Fletcher.
This is the sequel to Billy and me, her first book. Billy and me is my favorite book by her. ( may have something to do with the name of the lead character). I'm excited to carry on the journey with the main characters, Billy Buskin and Sophie May. With many stories you never get to know what happens next and that frustrates me a lot so to have this book, as well as her short story "Christmas with Billy and me", means so much to me and to allow her fans to continue to have a connection with her and her characters is amazing.

My third book is Me before you by Jojo Moyes.
This book I ordered after seeing the trailer on the internet for the film that came out last month based on the book. I am the sort of person who wants to read the book before seeing the movies (an exception is harry potter as I was too young to read before the films came out). This book is bound to make me an emotional wreck. Guarantee.

My fourth book is Allegiant by Veronica Roth.
This is the third book in the divergent series. I loved the first two books and yes I did see the movies after I read the books. This is an amazing series by a young writer. These are completely different from any other science fiction action book out there. And I applaud you Veronica as this is the first book in that genre that I have fallen in love with and makes me wanna come back for more. Unlike the hunger games it grasped my attention with every word. I don't get bored reading these books. So thank you Veronica for opening my mind to more genres.

My fifth and finally book is the Small Hand by Susan Hill.
I read this book in school a few years ago due to our topic being thriller genre. This is by the same author as the woman in black. I hate horror or thriller films, I physically cant watch them but when I had to read this for school I was gripped throughout and I find it easier to read thriller than watch it. I don't know why. This book I have wanted to read again ever since and I think now is the perfect time.

Thank you for reading there will be another entry on Thursday the 28th.
Happy Blogging
